Why Detox?

Vibrant health through detoxification

Are you tired of feeling weak and lethargic? It’s not just aging or work stress that’s causing prolonged periods of tiredness, it’s our modern lifestyle.

Smoking, drinking, prescription drugs, too much coffee – many of us have a stimulant of choice to numb the pain or give us a shot of energy. Add in a fast-paced lifestyle and a diet of instant, processed foods and you’ve got a recipe for poor health.

Even if you believe you’re leading a healthy lifestyle, you are still exposed to toxins everywhere, even your own home. Toxins are found in the air we breathe, in the water we drink and in the food we eat. Fungus, mold, metals and chemical residues are absorbed into bodies in unhealthy levels, weakening our immune systems and making us more susceptible to sickness and disease.

Whole, unprocessed foods were staples of every family meal decades ago. A once wholesome, nutrient-rich natural diet has been replaced with a mind-boggling array of food products enhanced with chemical additives, preservatives, hormones and antibiotics.

Between the stimulants, the junk food diet, the contaminated air and water, the toxic exposure to chemicals, and a sedentary lifestyle, is it any wonder our bodies are being overwhelmed with toxins?

What are toxins?

Toxins are poisonous compounds that are introduced into your body through the consumption of harmful substances – including through the intake of unhealthy food, air, water and stimulants. These toxins place stress on the organs and biochemical processes, upset the body’s natural balance and destabilize health. The more toxins we have in our body, the greater the risk of disease.

Parasites, worms, viruses and infectious bacteria are present in the systems of many unsuspecting individuals today. Someone can feel constantly tired for years, not having any idea that he or she is infested with parasites or worms. After 10, 20, 30 years or more, the spores of the invaders can rest deeply within the individual’s cells, requiring a longer period of elimination and detoxification.

What can be done to guard against toxin-related damage to your health? Short of curtailing every bad habit and moving to another planet, you can detox your body.

Detoxification and a healthier life

Detoxification is the process of removing toxins from the body and excreting them through bodily fluids. This is one of the most effective measures you can take to enhance your health. You can cleanse and rejuvenate your internal organs and systems and restore health and vibrancy.

With a carefully selected detox program, you can remove traces of drugs, chemicals and other harmful substances from your system and feel renewed again. Detoxification is also helpful for those who suffer from allergies, asthma, arthritis, depression, headaches, heart disease, digestive disorders, skin problems, obesity and a host of other maladies.

Benefits of Detox

  • increased energy levels
  • improved mental clarity
  • improved digestion and elimination
  • strengthened immune system
  • improved blood circulation
  • healthy skin
  • improved libido
  • improved mood and sense of well-being
  • improved sleep

Detoxification is a process; it gradually helps your body to cope up with the healthy lifestyle. And when you achieve this, you will not just feel its effects for only a short period, but you will experience a wonderful detoxified life for a lifetime.
